Pindos or Butia Capitata have done very well for us. We have about 3,000 5′-15′ over all. Some nearing 6’CT. The Pindo palm is also known as the jelly palm for it’s edible fruit. An attractive, cold-tolerant palm, Butia Capitata can be found as far north as Washington State and as far south as Florida. It makes an Attractive specimen, with light green, silvery grey leaves.
